Runestones with Ogham

Ogham markings are not letters but are more likely musical note patterns for various instruments like drums, flutes, and harps.

(August 20, 2024) Taking a picture of the Roborough Down Runestone - E-DEV-002  (CIIC 488). It was found being used as a gatepost near Buckland Monachorum north of Plymouth in England.

Translation in Akkadian (Rune Text 34)

(read top to bottom. Capital letters on object. Small letters are inferred Inner vowels. Verbs are italic bold).

After this is a sequence of drumming (angled ogham lines), harp notes (long vertical lines), and flute note (short vertical lines).

Previous Translation

Old Christian scholarship gives this translation composed mostly of names meaning it is not a real translation because names can cluster any set of letters. Other than that the letters and two remaining words are assumed to be Latin. "Faber" means "crafter" in Latin but it that is the word it is mis-spelled in the text. Once again, a fake translation being passed off as true by the museum establishment.
