Life Network, Spirals, and Labyrinth Wombs on Kerbstone 52 at Newgrange - 3200 BCE

(September 7, 2023) This kerbstone faces the sun solstice directions. The left side consists of the three life layers of the Ancient Pagan Paradigm emerging out of a network.

The right side (original bottom) consists of eggs having 3 inner dots which probably represent the 3 life layers of the Ancient Pagan Paradigm. Surrounding them are womb symbols.

Etruscan Labyrinth on Pot With Text Behind the Horsemen of Death - 600 BCE

(June 20, 2023) Close-up of a labyrinth and its text. The labyrinth is in the center of a scene. On its right side (not shown) is a sex scene which represents the shaping of life by its creation. On its left side are two warriors which represent the shaping of life by its destruction.  On their shields are images of eagle-vultures (griffons of Greek mythology) which edit the threads of the life network by cutting them. The labyrinth as the womb represents both pwers and is the center point of a triad. A womb can create as well as destroy life (miscarriage, death of mother while giving birth.) The text in the womb supports this interpretation. From: https://www.flickr.com/photos/internetarchivebookimages/14598010259/in/photostream/

Low resolution drawing of Etruscan wine-vase having the labyrinth with the text. The pot was found near Tragliatella, Italy around 1880. This town is near the major Etruscan town of Caere.  (from Mathews 1922)

Translation

(Updated April 9, 2024) The labyrinth on the pot has a short text inside it making this scene important for determining the function of the labyrinth. This drawing is low resolution because the two images to the right of the labyrinth are couples (man, woman) having sex. The sex scene has prevented this important object from being better known. The sex scene and its text indicates the labyrinth has something to do with fertility.

Translation in Akkadian

(read left to right, top to bottom in the traditional Druid direction. Capital letters on object. Small letters are inferred Inner vowels. Verbs are italic bold)
  1. TaRu  UGu  A

(Dual use letters are E/H, I/Y, U/W, and '/A in which vowel appears at beginning of words except for Yahu which is keeping its traditional Hebrew transliteration)

In English

  1.  For shaping these death-powers

Introduction To Labyrinths

(June 20, 2023) A decent introduction to labyrinths but its author was not yet aware of the Druid civilization. His theory about the Glastonbury Tor better fits the Druid Spiral than the labyrinth.
