Rathcroghan Cave 1 Ogham Stone, County Roscommon, Ireland
(December 16, 2024) The cave of Cruachu at Rathcroghan is a natural rock fissure to which a drystone masonry porch in the style of a souterrain has been added. Two of the lintel stones in this structure bear Ogham inscriptions. This first one is near the entrance.

(December 16, 2024, updated December 27, 2024) In the roof of a small branch passage, on the right-hand side of a visitor entering the cave a stone has its top end broken off. The remaining portion has a worn text. The remainder of the stone measures 4 ' 7" X I ' 10" x 0 10".
