(January 7, 2025) In 2021 this basalt tablet was discovered nearby Bashplemi Lake (Dmanisi municipality, Georgia). Based on its finds context The archaeologists date this to the Late Bronze/Early Iron Age. This date is way too early. This letter style is late Aegean dating it to around 400 BCE. What makes this text interesting is that lines 7 and 8 are laying sideways. This text has never been translated before.
