Runestone of Fat Hill (Monte Gordo), Portugal

The original stele exists as a door frame element for a traditonal Portuguese stone house. An inhabitant of Almodôvar, Mr. José Sousa, informed the Museum of Southwest Writing about the stele located about 10 km north of his estate at Monte Gordo in the parish of Rosario.  The stele is preserved there.  (Guerra 2013) 

 The text is a small debated about which power class is causing a drought. Upside down texts generally indicate a theme opposite that of the one prior. The text reads:


  1. With the crimping by network-birds, the falseness of the eagle-vulture's is being energized.  The Controllers (eagle-vultures) have been fate-cursed.  [word] is resulting from  revelations (of fate).  Envy's emotion-powers are controlling the energy. That prodding of the wind-streams is being astrologically-coerced. Their shepherds (astrology magic crafters) are revealing that.
  2. (upside down text)  Break-throughs will result from similar emotion-powers.  The emotion-power's revelations by Thu will be emotionally-triggered by the Moon-eye (Su) ....
