(March 29, 2025) This Punic runestone is Louvre number AO 1022, Med Text 94. Based on its weathering it is one of the oldest runestones from Cirta.
This text has Judahite style lettering suggesting this early stele was made by refugees from the Assyrian invasion which finished up in 586 BCE with the fall of Jerusalem. "Pasture" here is the starry night sky."
